Meet Lucy

Lucy Caroline Healey was born on July 15, 2009.
She weighed in at 7 lb. 12 oz. and 21 inches long.
She is my sister and brother-in-law's first.
Traci, Rick, and Lucy are all doing well!

Now for some "aunt" bragging.
Lucy is probably the most beautiful baby I've ever seen.
She sure did find that thumb quickly. Even during her first bath!
She has dark hair right now, but I think that'll change.

Best Christmas Card Ever

In the midst of "Christmas card" season for me, I received my favorite
card of all time from my great Uncle Bob and Aunt Susie (affectionately known as UBAS),
and they gave me the okay to share it with all of you.

The top photo of them is from 1940 when they were in first grade together.
The second photo is them "re-creating" the same photo in 2008 :)
Aunt Susie found her outfit at the Goodwill, and Uncle Bob, being a good
midwestern-er, had overalls on hand.

What a great idea! And it's a card that I will always keep.

My husband and I are celebrating our first wedding anniversary today!

Corey, you're the love of my life.
Thank you for being my best friend, my biggest fan, and just being so much fun!
You are the best man I know... you are caring, humble, intelligent, funny, and I could go on and on.
I can't wait to live the rest of my life with you.

I know I haven't been a faithful blogger, but you should be hearing a lot from me over the next couple of weeks! I have UMatt (my Uncle Matt!) & Jodie's engagement photos as well as some from their wedding to come. Also on deck, Brian & Morgan's wedding.

A couple of weeks ago Corey and I went to the Outer Banks for a week with my family. It was such a relaxing and fun time. Here are a few fun ones from our trip.

We only had about two days on the beach, but that gave us some time to hang out, play wacky games (draw down the lane, etc) and to visit the largest sand dune on the east coast!
